How To Sell Your Home Virtually

The first step is to host a virtual listing consultation with you. This gives us a chance to see you home and talk face-to-face. We can connect utilizing any platform: FaceTime, Skype, Facebook Video Chat, etc.

Once you decide to list your home with us, we will get a professional photographer out to take photos of your home. The Multiple Listing Service (MLS), the platform Realtors use to share homes for sale among agents and their clients, has the ability to include virtual tours of the home. Potential buyers will be able to view your home without ever having to leave their couch.

In addition, Keller Williams offers a variety of marketing options to creating a customized landing page to highlight your home, social media posts, postcards and email templates. We can utilize whatever options are best for your home! Want to host a virtual open house? We have the tools available to work with you to set it up and optimize it’s reach to potential interested parties.

We will handle all the waivers and paperwork necessary to ensure that we are in compliance with the Governor’s order, and the rules and regulations of the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors. Once an offer comes in, we will then take care of the entire contract to close process.


How to Buy Your Dream Home Virtually

Just like with selling a home, the first step is the consultation. We will schedule a virtual appointment with you by phone or video conference on the platform that you are most familiar with. During our conversation, we will discuss all your wants and needs for your next home. If you’re not sure where to start, check out our Must-Have Questionnaire. Next, you will need to get pre-approved by a mortgage lender. We can recommend a few lenders that our previous clients have used.

We will create a custom search on BrightMLS with your specific needs, and email you every home that matches your criteria as soon as they hit the market. Chose which homes peak your interest and we will provide you with live or pre-recorded virtual tours of the property. We will be in constant communication with you and the seller’s listing agent to ensure all of your questions are answered.

When you are ready to submit an offer on a home, we will provide you with the documents digitally, and talk you through the paperwork before you review and sign electronically. Once your offer is accepted, we will work with you to set up a wire transfer for the earnest money deposit. Inspections and closings can be tricky during this time, but can be done! We can have a virtual inspection completed, where you will receive information from the inspector in real time and/or a detailed report. All closings will follow the proper precautions to ensure we are following the law and social distancing, but you will be fully involved and know everything that is going on.
