Plantology on Tap: True Confessions of a Houseplant Serial Killer- January 20th at 5:30 pm
Join Longwood’s Continuing Education Instructor Bridget Wosczyna as she explores the trials and tribulations of growing a variety of houseplants, sharing the stories of those she has lot and how she uses those losses to inform her for future success. Share your houseplant fails over a seasonal cocktail and small bit with fellow houseplant serial killers and, armed with your new knowledge, take home a new plant and try again! Longwood Gardens 2022 Performance Series - Two Upcoming Performances in January
On January 23rd at 3:00 pm, Andrew Senn will be performing. He is the director of music and organist at the First Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia and is known for colorful programs. On January 28th at 8:00 pm, The Crossing with Donald Nally & Dublin Guitar Quartet will be performing. Enjoy choir and classical guitar reach new heights with work by Nico Muhly. Murder Mystery Nights at Chaddsford Winery - Fridays & Saturdays Throughout January

Camp Elder: The Strange Story of Westtown’s Union Prisoner of War Camp - January 11th 7:00-8:30 pm
The Chester County History Center is working with local historian David Walter for a virtual exploration of a Chester County Civil War POW camp. After the Battle of Gettysburg, almost 2,000 prisoners of war who had been captured by the Confederate Army were returned to the Union Army. These soldiers were held at Camp Elder, in Westtown, Chester County, and this is their strange story. Reserve your spot at the link above!
Virtual Book Discussion: Hell and Other Destinations - January 13th, 10:00-11:00 am
Join Chester County History Center’s curator Ellen Endslow to discuss thought-provoking books and connect with other in the community. “Since leaving the State Department, Albright has blazed her own trail—and given voice to millions who yearn for respect, regardless of gender, background or age. Penns Woods Winery: January Wine Weekends - 2 hour reservation limits
For January weekend reservations, they will also be featuring their annual Wine, Cheese & Honey pairing! This pairing includes a tasting of 4 wines perfectly paired with 4 local cheeses topped with variations of local honey. Newlin Grist Mill: Bird Walks - January 29th at 9 am
Join Newlin Grist Mill for monthly naturalist-led walks through the 160-acre park at Newlin Grist Mill. You will meet year-round residents, visit exciting migrants and learn basics of bird identification and biology. Families and beginners are welcom for these free bird walks! Ardmore Winter Beer Festival - January 8th starting at 12:30 pm
