Understanding the Value of Your Home

  • Exterior features: patio, deck, detached units, swimming pools, etc.

  • Interior features: fireplace, sunroom, home office, etc.

  • Basement: finished vs unfinished

These are just some of the things that need to be taken into consideration – and the best way to do so is through a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA). This is a report that ascertains the current value of your home through a comparison of recent and current sales in your area of homes with similar features. It’ll determine the demand level for your home on an individual level – this is something a Zestimate or other automatically generated system can’t do.
