CHESTER COUNTY MARKET UPDATE:
In April, we saw an increase inventory: A total of 996 homes went up for sale, 13.6% higher than in March. Homes also sold at a median sold price came to $409,381. That number is 9.2% higher than at this time last year. The number of closings totaled 561, which is 22.2% higher than last year. These homes averaged 22 days on the market. It’s still a seller’s market, even with the increase in listed homes.
DELAWARE COUNTY MARKET UPDATE:
In Delaware County, we saw: 951 new listings were put up on the market, which is 17.3% higher than in February (202.9% higher than last year!). A total of 562 homes sold (8.5% higher than in February) at a median sales price of $289,300 - 13% increase from March. In addition, the average days on market was 21 days, strengthening the data that proves we are still in a seller’s market even with the increase in inventory.
