Grateful Fall Local Happenings

It might be getting cold out, but the fall season is not over yet! Check out these fun fall events! Charity events are also very popular this time of year, so see how you can get involved on the list below.

CHESTER COUNTY Charity Events:

  • 2019 ANNUAL CHARITY GALA & ROARING 20’s PARTY
    November 23rd:     5:30 pm -9:00 pm

    Each year, the Phoenixville Regional Chamber of Commerce's Annual Charity Gala benefits the non-profit community to help them continue their great work throughout the year. A silent auction will go on throughout the evening with items such as restaurant gift certificates, museum tickets, and vouchers for an overnight stay at Valley Forge Casino up for bid.   • HONEY BROOK FOOD PANTRY DISTRIBUTION
    November 27th:     4:00-6:30 pm

    Are you looking to get food from the Honey Brook Food Pantry (HBFP) this year? To be eligible for HBFP’s distribution, participants must be residents of the Twin Valley School District and meet minimum Federal Poverty Income Guidelines based on household and number of residents.   • CHESTER COUNTY TURKEY TROT
    November 28th:     8:00-10:00 am

    The Cure4Cam Childhood Cancer Foundation seeks to raise community awareness and support the development of new and more humane therapies for childhood cancer. If you’re interested in running a 5k, walking a 2k, or the kid run, you can register for the race or donate here.

DELAWARE COUNTY Charity Events:

  • DINE AND DONATE AT SAXER’S PUB
    November 26th:     5:00 -11:00 pm

    Stop in on Tuesday November 26th at Saxer's Pub for a Dine & Donate! 10% of your check will go towards HEADstrong when you mention your association to your server. This is valid during dinner only, and must include a food purchase for DINE IN only! Learn more here.

  • 2019 ACTION POTENTIAL TURKEY TROT
    November 28th

    Registration opens at 7:45am & the race starts at 9:00am. A portion of the proceeds from this 5k run/walk and 1 mile walk/roll will benefit Safe Harbor of Chester County! It is a local organization that provides food and shelter to those in need. T-shirts will be provided for the first 800 preregistered racers. There will be refreshments and music pre and post race. DELAWARE COUNTY “Fall Fun” Events:

  • FALL CRAFT FAIR AT CARDINAL O’HARA HIGH SCHOOL
    November 23rd & 24th

    The craft fair’s hours will be 10:00am - 4:00pm on the 23rd & 10:00am - 3:00pm on the 24th. This fair benefits Cardinal O’Hara’s Band and Color Guard, and will have more than 80 vendors with hand-made arts and crafts, a daily 50/50, gift basket raffle, baked goods sale, and hot breakfast/lunch items for sale by the Band Parent Association.   • GREEN FRIDAY WALK
    November 29th:     11:00am -12:30pm

    Save the date for the Green Friday Walk at Glen Providence Park with Aura Lester and Holly Hoffmann! This walk is geared towards families, but all are welcome. Learn more at here.
