CHESTER COUNTY MARKET UPDATE:
In October there was a total of 867 homes put up for sale on the market. The median sold price was $395,000 - 16.2% higher than in 2019 but the same as in September. The number of closings totaled 757, which is 27% higher than last year. These homes are averaging 31 days on the market, so the turn-around time is on the lower end from the past 5-years.
DELAWARE COUNTY MARKET UPDATE:
In Delaware County, 859 new listings were put up on the market, which is 12.6% higher than last year. A total of 769 homes sold (47.3% higher than last year) at a median sales price of $245,000. The sold price is on the decline over the past few months but the numbers are still higher than in the past year - in 2019, the medial sold price was $200,500. In addition, the average days on market is still low at 26 days. Both counties are still experiencing a strong seller’s market.
